WHO ARE WE?
The RFC is a place and a people who experience God’s redemption and share it with the UM and NWCC campuses!
BEN & MARYBETH BRINKERHOFF
Ben and Marybeth met at their campus ministry at Auburn University, where they received their undergraduate degrees. Ben grew up in Auburn, Alabama in a campus ministry family. His day does not begin until he has had a cup (or more) of coffee. Marybeth grew up in Huntsville, Alabama, works as a Registered Nurse, and is a (wanna-be) aspiring baker. They started working with the RFC in August 2019 and desire to orient students lives towards Christ on the college campus.
My name is Ben Wacaster, and I am an Auburn grad, national parks enthusiasts, and self-proclaimed nerd. I'm currently interning at the RFC with the hopes of going into full time ministry and am looking forward to deepening our relationship with God and one another!
Hey Friends! My name is Elyse (Jones) Kelso, and I am pursuing a Masters in social Work from Ole Miss, a corgi mom, and wife to Dakota Kelso. I am super pumped about being an apprentice to serve this community and walk with people as we become more like Christ.
Julie began working at the RFC in the summer of 2020. She and her husband, Brian, have two sons - Colton and Harrison - and six pets - Claire, Andy (dogs), Vincent, Roo, Dolly (goats), and Kevin Bacon (a pig). Along with overseeing our building and dorms, Julie hopes to influence our students towards Christ as they embark upon their college career.
Along with being Julie's Husband and one of the coolest people we know, Brian became the Oxford Church of Christ's RFC deacon in 2021. No one is handier than Brian and he is always up for a good conversation! So, if you see him around than him for all he does and get to know him better.
Dale Davis is co-owner of Davis Tool and Die and oversees the RFC as a Shepherd of the Oxford Church of Christ. He, his wife Lori, and their four children - Reed, Drew, Cori, and Anna Lee - are all alumni of the RFC! The Davis family loves to invite students into their home and share Jesus with them!
